Canoe Camping / Lows Lake / UNLIMITED BASS?!?
Since the first time I went there, years ago, I have wanted to go back. I was offered the opportunity to visit the lake, approaching it from a different area I have previously used. Given the circumstances, and the lakes low use for the past few years, I had to go.
Joe and I made the drive up to meet Mike, to enjoy the Adirondacks. And that we did! Starting from Bog lake, we made our way through the Bog river into Lows Lake for 6 days of canoe camping adventure! This trip offered great weather, an amazing fishing experience and the lake pretty much to ourselves! I hope you enjoy this video.

Good! You're using G Flex epoxy. Did you consider putting some red pigment into the epoxy so you might be able to skip painting your repairs? Nice job you did on this !
I recently bought the Outback Pocketboy for my car’s bugout bag. Haven’t used it yet, but it looks like it will hold up well with proper use. Was considering the Gomboy variant, but I wasn’t digging the curved blade, and I’m also carrying an axe with it for if the situation calls for bigger cuts. Btw, I caught that Happy Gilmore reference 😂

That depends on the trip. Lake trips that involve portages, The trillium. Rivers, the Phoenix.
Yeah I digging my trillium, for the $$ it’s a great boat. I find it to be a cross between a kayak and a canoe .

IXP bare bones no option model ,looked at other companies but the cost was a bit much . I went up and saw Austin he swung me a deal and in floated away LOL

The lower dam entrance is very nice. But I have been wanting to get back there before the crowds do, and finally got the chance! It was a lot of fun approaching the lake from a different direction.

Nice outing - I love it when the fish practically jump in the boat. We spent a week in Northern, WI with the kiddos. The fishing started out great the first night, then the Mayfly hatch the second day. ...The bite just shut down. We still caught fish here and there, but nothing like the first day, where we were getting a good 16-18" largie every 5 casts...

I said I was done with Luxe hiking gear. They were the North American distributors for Luxe Outdoors. Luxe hiking Gear has since been terminated for sketchy business practices. . I made a video about it. North America now has a new distributor, Three Ridges Gear, and they are great! I have no problem at all recommending Three Ridges Gear Co. Jim is doing a great job.

How is the sylicon caulk sealant holding up? I'm very much considering buying this tent but I worry that the PU coating (since the tent istnt sylcoated) wont work with the sylicon caulk for seam sealing. Thanks in advance !
The silicone caulk method has worked great. I sealed this tent years ago, and it is still keeping the rain out.
